Excerpt: I have had several canon products in the past, with no complaints. All have be good.
The ip7720 is a waste of time and money. I had had this printer for over a year and don't use it very often - for two good reasons: The printer takes forever to start up and it drains ink like it has a hole in the...
This printer is not very good. It constantly jams and returns errors
12 March 2016
Summary: This printer is not very good. It constantly jams and returns errors. Forget about printing on envelopes. I've tried everything and have not been able to successfully print an envelope. Also you have to buy expensive software to print to disc. Very disappointed.
Summary: I hate this printer. It sucks the the life out of me like a dementor. One moment it's working fine, then some other moment need to print something really quick like, and it doesn't work, so I spend a few minutes diagnosing it.
Summary: I'm actually going to throw this away after just 3 months and switch brands.
Cons: Not well built. A pain to set up - I actually had to cable it to my computer to set up the wifi. Mostly though it takes almost 4 minutes to get your first page out of it! It's slow as molasses, and constantly does a head cleaning and other internal machinations when it really should be printing. ...

Summary: I don't typically write reviews... Currently sitting next to this printer trying to get it to print - and thats the same story since we've owned it. Ive wasted so much time over the last year with this printer. This thing hardly ever works. At least not connected to our router or over Air Print.
Summary: Do not buy this printer if you really want a wireless printer! There are simply not enough hours in the day to spend trying to get it to print. It does do a good job when it works, but it loses wireless connection too easily.
Summary: I bought this POS two years ago and it has given me very little but trouble ever since. I have just spent nearly an hour trying to get it to print a photo. It has just finished printing two other photos *on the same exact kind of paper,* but now it tells me it can't. Save your money.
Excerpt: Using this printer for a year no wait to be more correct printing 4 to 6 pages a month and already swapped cartridges 3 times. Do not want to mention about 4 minutes noise that it make before each print or every time you turn it ON, that what probably eats all of your ink.
Excerpt: Within a year, began to have multiple problems with printer. The one problem I could not fix was that the printer would not recognize and print on 4" x 6" photo paper. My opinion it is not a well designed printer.
