Summary: The Canon 6000 series printers: 6000D, 6600D and 6700D are workhorses as well as being cost conscience. I run a small business and have four 6000 series Canons that I am using hard. The fact that the ink is in separate tanks is cost saving, the durability of these printers is nothing short of miraculous, and the speed of the printers as well as the available print options make these printers priceless.
Summary: This is a great printer for both text and graphics. The duplex feature works flawlessly and is a great paper and time saver. Digital photos taken with a 14.7MP camera printed 8.5x11 look virtually as good as photographs taken with a 35mm film camera. Photo printing is where this printer really shines, but everyday use such as documents also look great. The print speed is much better than the photo printer I replaced, and the results are better.
Summary: Our Canon iP6000D Inkjet Printer gave up the ghost so we searched for a replacement. For some inexplainable reason it stopped printing magenta and photo magenta only. Inasmuch as we were very familiar with the operations of the old printer, we took a chance on a refurbished, one step up model in the iP6600D. It arrived sooner than expected and we eagerly set it up so that we could print pictures that have been waiting for a color printer.
Summary: Greates printer I've ever owned. Great photos. Very easy to use. This is the first Canon I've owned and if they're all like this one then there's no need to have any other printer companies. I bought the first one that was a demo at Office Depot. A friend of mine needed a printer and didn't have or want an Ebay account so I bought it for him. He feels the same way as I do about this printer. Now the con: It either uses a lot of ink or the containers don't hold a lot.
Summary: I BOUGHT THIS PRINTER ON eBAY BECAUSE OF THE REVIEWS OTHER PEOPLE HAD WRITTEN ABOUT THE PRINTER.THE PICTURES I HAVE PRINTED ALREADY ARE PERFECT.THE PRINTER WAS REFURBISHED AT CANON,ALSO CAME WITH NEW INK & SAMPLE PAPER.THE 3.5 VIEW FINDER GIVES YOU A NICE COLOR LOOK AT WHAT THE PICTURE IS GOING TO LOOK LIKE BEFORE YOU PRINT IT.IT HAS A LOT OF WAYS TO PRINT PICTURES THAT I WILL NEVER USE BUT NICE TO KNOW I COULD IF I WANT TO.THE PRICE WAS GREAT COMPARED TO HOW MUCH THEY...
Summary: Actually I wanted a 6000 series, I bought this 6600 buy accident. My father has a 6000 and he loves it. One thing I noted though, the 6600 prints faster and still makes a nice print. No complaints about this printer. Canon makes great products, already had two cameras. Also, paid $70 for six Canon ink tanks but would have spent around $60 for my old Lexmark's two and they wont last as long. I've also found a web site to buy non-Canon ink tanks for as little as $2 each!
