Canon Pixma iP6600D Photo Printer

PC Magazine
23 May 2006
  • Conclusion: The Canon Pixma iP6600D Photo Printer can function as an all-purpose printer, but it's best reserved for photos, with a PictBridge connector, a kiosk-style front-panel menu for printing from memory cards, an LCD for previewing photos, and much better speed and quality ratings for photos than for business applications.
  • Pros: Fast performance for photos. Excellent paper handling with dual paper feed and duplexing. Extensive photo-kiosk style front-panel menus for printing from memory cards.
  • Cons: Performance on business applications is wanting. Text quality is only fair.

  • Summary: The iP6600D is particularly suited to printing photos directly from a digital camera or media card, and two paper trays and a duplexer add to its versatility. It's going to cost you, but the respectable running costs make it a good investment if you want quality photos.
  • Pros: Great LCD Display, 150 sheets holder, Running Costs, Ink LED warning
  • Cons: Adapter needed for most media cards, Quite slow print speeds
