Summary: The printer itself does a beautiful job of printing photos, but I was not happy to discover that I had to locate an old XP computer in order to use it. The seller gave no warning that the model was more than 6 years old, and as the computer I had originally intended to use it with was running Windows 7 and not connected to the internet, there was no way of making use of the download Canon provides, and they would not allow me to purchase a disk with the program for...
Summary: I needed a new printer after having a bad experience with 2 HP Inkjet pinters. This Canon fell within the price range I was going to spend. It is an older model but still brand new in the box. It will suffice for a while. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles which is fine by me. Keep it simple sweeheart.
Summary: a great litte printer. I like the way the photos come out no runs, clear, dry and no lay over colors in the printing. They look like you had then done at a photo shop. Epson printers is the only other one like this.
Summary: THIS IS THE BEST PRINTER I HAVE EVER HAD.THE MOST EXPENSIVE PART OF PRINTING IS THE INK,NOT THE PRINTER. I HAVE HAD IT ALMOST 2 YEARS WITH NO MISHAPS OR PROBLEMS. THE INK LAST A VERY LONG TIME, OVER 4 TIMES LONGER THAN ANY OTHER I HAVE OWNED.
As Always, The Ink Is Expensive, But the Printer Is...

Summary: a really great little printer. This printer replaced another Canon that I had had for about three years. The printhead finally went out on that one, and if you have ever replaced a printhead, you know that they are expensive, and sometimes the new one doesn't last very long. I have had this printer for about a year now, and I paid about $10.00 more for it than the cost of a new printhead, so it is a great value.
Summary: Factory Refurbished unit is as good as new, and a great deal for only $50 including shipping. The only problem is that it is extremely slow, and does not have an easy way to print in black and white, or to designate whether you want to use photo ink or ordinary color ink. It is especially slow on the first print after startup, which is often for me, because I turn it off to conserve electricity.
Summary: This is our second Canon Pixma iP6220D. The first was damaged during renovations to our house and we knew that there was no better choice for us. We print alot of black and white (law student in the house) and many photographs (photographer in the house). The only slight complaint is that the ink is very expensive and will not function with one catridge, so you must purchase both!
