Canon PIXMA iP6220D Photo Printer

Barbara Piper, Amazon
7 March 2014
  • Summary: The printer itself does a beautiful job of printing photos, but I was not happy to discover that I had to locate an old XP computer in order to use it. The seller gave no warning that the model was more than 6 years old, and as the computer I had originally intended to use it with was running Windows 7 and not connected to the internet, there was no way of making use of the download Canon provides, and they would not allow me to purchase a disk with the program for...

Good value for the price.

Joseph S., Amazon
1 July 2013
  • Summary: I needed a new printer after having a bad experience with 2 HP Inkjet pinters. This Canon fell within the price range I was going to spend. It is an older model but still brand new in the box. It will suffice for a while. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles which is fine by me. Keep it simple sweeheart.

Amazing Photo Printer

Debbie Cornett, Amazon
13 June 2013
  • Summary: I absolutely love this little printer. I can't tell the difference between photos I printed on it and photos printed at the local big box store. I would highly recommend.

canon pixma printer

sabrina, Amazon
14 May 2013
  • Summary: a great litte printer. I like the way the photos come out no runs, clear, dry and no lay over colors in the printing. They look like you had then done at a photo shop. Epson printers is the only other one like this.

Good deal for the money, but horribly slow

CHRISTOPHER C YODER, Amazon
13 February 2009
  • Summary: Factory Refurbished unit is as good as new, and a great deal for only $50 including shipping. The only problem is that it is extremely slow, and does not have an easy way to print in black and white, or to designate whether you want to use photo ink or ordinary color ink. It is especially slow on the first print after startup, which is often for me, because I turn it off to conserve electricity.

A printer that does everything well

Alphonse J. Frank, Amazon
13 November 2008
  • Summary: The seller advertised that this was part of a camera bundle. I received it promptly in the original box (darn, he took the camera!). It prints documents and photos with great quality and is much faster than my 4 year old HP deskjet. I was prepared to pay twice as much at a retailer for this printer but as part of a camera bundle I got a GREAT DEAL!

INK MISER

Henry Cargen, Amazon
13 November 2008
  • Summary: THIS IS THE BEST PRINTER I HAVE EVER HAD.THE MOST EXPENSIVE PART OF PRINTING IS THE INK,NOT THE PRINTER. I HAVE HAD IT ALMOST 2 YEARS WITH NO MISHAPS OR PROBLEMS. THE INK LAST A VERY LONG TIME, OVER 4 TIMES LONGER THAN ANY OTHER I HAVE OWNED.

As Always, The Ink Is Expensive, But the Printer Is...

J. A. Eastman "boomer", Amazon
13 November 2008
  • Summary: a really great little printer. This printer replaced another Canon that I had had for about three years. The printhead finally went out on that one, and if you have ever replaced a printhead, you know that they are expensive, and sometimes the new one doesn't last very long. I have had this printer for about a year now, and I paid about $10.00 more for it than the cost of a new printhead, so it is a great value.
