Great little color photo printer

Howard Ellegant, Amazon
13 July 2014
  • Summary: This little workhorse has been going strong for nearly 7 years. I usually print 8 1/2" x 11" photos. Its speedy and color rendition is good. Only thing I don't like....cost of ink cartridges (and experience tells me to use OEM not refills). Canon makes great printers and ink.

Cannon Pixma Purchase

PrinterMike, Amazon
18 July 2012
  • Summary: Bought this product from the amazon web site to replace my defective IP6210D photo printer. My total cost was $75.00. The printer was new and the packing contained two cartridges (a color and a photo) Great buy, to repair my old printer would have cost over $100.00.

Works pretty good. I like it. Does what I need it to do

  • Summary: I bought the printer to do some amatuer photo printing. Does pretty good. They want to write at least one hundred words and I don't have that much to write about. Like I said it does the job and a pretty good one at that.

  • Summary: Perfectly fine if all you need is a basic day-to-day printer especially for document printing. Not bad at all.
  • Pros: Simple design, easy to use, customer support
  • Cons: Both cartridges needed even if you're not printing photos.

The Perfect Home Photo Printer

flipnipper, Ebay
1 April 2007
  • Summary: As a Published Photographer I am continually amazed at the quality of the prints this little unit puts out. I first bought one last year after extensive research of online printing companies. The study used this printer to compare the quality of a wide variety of photographs from all sources. The Canon was rated better than or equal to all of them, outperforming many well known names.

Great Pictures

G. M. Rinderle, Amazon

  • Summary: I printed my pictures directly from my SD card and they turned out beautifully! High gloss photo paper and a good photographer make for gorgeous pictures when you print them out on this printer! Highly recommend!

A great economical multi-purpose printer -- when you've learned the system

Dennis R. Jugan, Amazon
21 January 2007
  • Summary: The Canon PIXMA iP6210D prints excellent documents and photos. BUT, as often happens, buyers make poor choices to suit their needs. This is NOT a production printer for photographs, although it produces excellent images on reasonable quality inkjet paper AND specialized photo papers. If you value quality over high speed; understand TCO (total cost of ownership); and can work reasonably well with your hands, THIS IS THE IDEAL PRINTER FOR YOU.

Canon Pixma iP6210D

  • Summary: I love the superior quality photo prints it produces, plus the longevity of the prints (100yrs). I just wish I could put a larger size paper in it. An 8x11.5 is a nice size once it's matted and framed, and I have sold a good deal of them, but sometimes you just want something bigger. It is definately cheaper than going to a photo store and having someone else do the print, not to mention the fact that you know what you are looking for and they may not even be looking.

Excellent

vj1950, Ebay
4 December 2006
  • Summary: The photo printer is easier to manage when attached to a computer. I am able to print in 4"x6", 5"x7", 8.5"x11" and even smaller. Although I can't attach my camera directly to the printer, it takes the card, if needed, as an alternate way of printing. I had one of these printers and decided to purchase a second one as a gift item.
