Summary: Worked greatl for about a month and then the color shifted, Replaced cartridges and hoping for the best. Also ran didgnostic to client print heads and check nozzles. These are standard inkjet issues.
Summary: Not too bad for an older printer. I needed this for a class I'm taking and had to find one on the cheap and on the fast. The printer is over all very good though I don't like the feeder tray that is at the bottom.Print quality is pretty decent but I would not ever call it "pro" quality.
Summary: I can't complain. It's a wonderful printer. Pictures aren't too great w/ the aftermarket ink, but it worked great w/ their ink. It serves my purposes as I'm not into making fab pics. Edit 1/20/2008 Well, the blue ink doesn't work.

Summary: I've had this printer for about two years. It's my photo printer, I really don't do a lot else with it because I don't want to wear it out prematurely. Before this unit I had a canon i850 which was also a excellent unit but I had problems with leaky heads and it was only a three color printer, this...
Summary: I bought this printer on Oct 15, 2005 to replace a Canon i950 printer that quit working. Read my updates below regarding the series of Canon printers that I have been through. Printer produces excellent photo prints due to the 6 ink tanks.
Great Printer...Customer service good too, even with some snags

Summary: I bought the IP6000D a couple of months ago on recommendation by a friend. My friend was right...the photo quality is amazing, especially if you use Canon's Photo Paper Pro. I tried printing the same photo on Photo Paper Pro and the Staples brand Photo Supreme High Gloss Paper and the difference was...
Summary: I got my printer a month ago at J&R, basing on the reviews that I read, I was excited and at the same time a little bit doubtful if I spent my money wisely. But when it arrived and printed a couple of photos, I was completely satisfied.
Summary: This is my first photo printer and I also purchased a Canon PowerShot digital camera. I printed 110 photo's this weekend and the quality of the photo's are excellent, much better than I ever imagined! Printing 110 photo's completely used up the Photo Cyan and Photo Magenta ink tanks.
Summary: I just bought this printer. The photo finishing results are excellent if printed on Canon paper. I would have bought the PIXMA 4000 if I could have pre-viewed the very poor LCD quality on the printer.
very good printer and customer service, but a few oversights

Summary: Naturally, when you are spending over $150 on a photo printer, you expect an excellent result. This printer delivers. The results when printed on photo paper are indistinguishable from a professionally developed photograph in most instances.
