Summary: MY CANON IP6000D IS AT LEAST 8 YEARS OLD AND PRINTS COLOR PHOTOS LIKE THEY CAME FROM LAB AND THATS WITH OFF BRAND INK TRUST ME I'M NOT LIEING I HAVE NO REASON TOOOOOOO. THIS IS NOT A CHEEP PRINTER COMPARED TO THE JUNK THATS SOLD TODAY
Summary: I bought this printer to replace the one I had used for over 5 years. The printer is reliable and provides excellent hardcopy printouts. However, I have not had good success at printing photos from my iMac with color that matches what I see on my computer screen.
Summary: I have been a canon person for all my printers. I am really pleased with this printer. Great quality photo printing and the ability to duplex print is a plus. I have 3 friends that also own this printer and I bought this one for my grandson.

Summary: I've had this printer for about two years. It's my photo printer, I really don't do a lot else with it because I don't want to wear it out prematurely. Before this unit I had a canon i850 which was also a excellent unit but I had problems with leaky heads and it was only a three color printer, this...
Summary: I bought this printer on Oct 15, 2005 to replace a Canon i950 printer that quit working. Read my updates below regarding the series of Canon printers that I have been through. Printer produces excellent photo prints due to the 6 ink tanks.

Summary: I bought the IP6000D a couple of months ago on recommendation by a friend. My friend was right...the photo quality is amazing, especially if you use Canon's Photo Paper Pro. I tried printing the same photo on Photo Paper Pro and the Staples brand Photo Supreme High Gloss Paper and the difference was...
Summary: I got my printer a month ago at J&R, basing on the reviews that I read, I was excited and at the same time a little bit doubtful if I spent my money wisely. But when it arrived and printed a couple of photos, I was completely satisfied.
Summary: This is my first photo printer and I also purchased a Canon PowerShot digital camera. I printed 110 photo's this weekend and the quality of the photo's are excellent, much better than I ever imagined! Printing 110 photo's completely used up the Photo Cyan and Photo Magenta ink tanks.
Summary: I just bought this printer. The photo finishing results are excellent if printed on Canon paper. I would have bought the PIXMA 4000 if I could have pre-viewed the very poor LCD quality on the printer.
