Shopped around for a good price on this model. I am completely satisfied with it. Not being "savvy" about installing computers and printers, I was able to get it up and running in very little time. The print quality is very good, and it's not noisy. Comment Read more

"The print quality is AWEFUL. My HP laser printer & Epson Picture Mate print better quality than this printer. I would definitely not recommend this product to anyone. The color & tint are off no matter what you do, the clarity is not good either. I spoke with a sales associate at a different electronics store & he agreed that the print quality on the printer is garbage & recommended I use a printer with seperate ink cartridges. I returned the product to Best Buy and ... Read more

...which is also capable of printing documents, etc... preferably in double sided format. I don't need to do documents in great volume because I can print most things at my work but its just convenient to have that capability at home. I've had my eye on the Canon PIXMA iP4500 which seems to be a good comprimise between a photo printer and a normal printer but I'm now also wondering if it might not be a bad idea to spend more and get an all-in-one package including a scanner, etc... Again I can scan and photocopy at my office but...

  4. Canon Pixma iP4500

Greetings all, I've been doing some searching about for printers and the Canon Pixma iP4500 has caught my eye. Problem is, I don't seem to see a lot of mention of this printer anywhere in terms of reviews and the like. There's a couple here and there at places like CNet and about 9 user reviews on Amazon (no real mention at all here on photo.net)....
