Summary: I have had this printer for several years and do not need to use it very often. When I do use it, and it works well, it puts out beautiful photos. The problem with it, however, is that it tends to be "error prone.
Summary: slow and every time you print it makes noises like it is cleaning print heads. It not only takes minutes to get started printing but also wastes ink... which probably is on purpose. I may give this thing away and buy another.
Summary: The iP3600 installation and setup went smoothly on my Mac mini (OS X) but there was a "small" glitch: no ink would render to the paper. On the plus side, I was able to quickly get through to Canon customer support. However, that brief positive feeling of technical salvation soon turned to despair.
Summary: I have two computers - both running Windows 7, and neither would detect the printer. I uninstalled the printer software twice, but no dice. Also, the printer does not come with a printer cable.
Summary: The printer worked fine for the first week. Then all of the sudden it started having error messages. Many different kinds of error messages. I would have to Play with the ink head for 30 minutes and re-adjust the ink to get it to work again.
Summary: We print ten or less pages a week. No photos. Mostly text and maybe some color highlights. The printer is out of one color of ink every three weeks!! You can not print when one color is empty. Ink is very expensive and we have found no refill programs.
Snatch & Grab Paper Jams and vibrates like a mini Earthquake

Summary: Easily one of the WORST printers I have ever owned. It snatches paper from the bottom tray, which results in torn, wrinkled paper and constant paper jams. It also displays error messages on the computer telling me I have no paper left when there are at least 20 sheets in the tray.
Summary: I just bought this printer Canon Pixma IP3600 a week ago, and right out of the box the paper feed cassette wouldn't feed paper. After reading many reviews and comments about this printer I found that at least 50% of users had the same problem.

There are three problems: 1) Continually gives me this message: "Service error 6C10" 2) Frequently says no paper in lower tray 3) The PGPK ink head will not print at all (verified on Print nozzle check - no ink pattern at all;...
Summary: Well, this was fun. First, Amazon listed as "in stock". Then I was told there would be a delay. OK, no big deal. ------------------------------------------------------------------ I go to set it up, there are little pieces of paper taped everywhere, cautions about this, cautions about that.
