Summary: I just buried my IP3600 after 3.5 years of middling service. I got a B200 support code and no amount of trouble shooting helped to make the printer work again. Canon provides no support or repair for my problem...so it is time to buy a new printer.
Summary: The iP3600 installation and setup went smoothly on my Mac mini (OS X) but there was a "small" glitch: no ink would render to the paper. On the plus side, I was able to quickly get through to Canon customer support. However, that brief positive feeling of technical salvation soon turned to despair.
Summary: The printer worked fine for the first week. Then all of the sudden it started having error messages. Many different kinds of error messages. I would have to Play with the ink head for 30 minutes and re-adjust the ink to get it to work again.
Summary: Well, this was fun. First, Amazon listed as "in stock". Then I was told there would be a delay. OK, no big deal. ------------------------------------------------------------------ I go to set it up, there are little pieces of paper taped everywhere, cautions about this, cautions about that.
Cons: Sadly, the day I receive the product, it was no recognize by windows. I followed every step and read every sentanses from the manual and still cant solve it. so i contact canon and request an RMA. they soon reply and sent me the new one after couple of weeks. however, the second one is still DOA....
Summary: I have had this printer for several years and do not need to use it very often. When I do use it, and it works well, it puts out beautiful photos. The problem with it, however, is that it tends to be "error prone.
Summary: slow and every time you print it makes noises like it is cleaning print heads. It not only takes minutes to get started printing but also wastes ink... which probably is on purpose. I may give this thing away and buy another.
Summary: My new printer arrived and did not print correctly. We contacted Canon and they sent directions on how to test the printer. We followed the directions and the printer still did not work. Canon sent us new ink cartirages, then a new print head and none of the items corrected the problem.
Summary: I have two computers - both running Windows 7, and neither would detect the printer. I uninstalled the printer software twice, but no dice. Also, the printer does not come with a printer cable.
Summary: I just bought and received this Printer (lemon), to replace my epson. There are three problems: 1) Continually gives me this message: "Service error 6C10" 2) Frequently says no paper in lower tray 3) The PGPK ink head will not print at all (verified on Print nozzle check - no ink pattern at all;...
