Summary: I have spent more than 2 hours just trying to install this crazyness - I am an IT professional but the language in the set-up guide is at places too tech even for me - I am simply trying to do a "wireless installation where network is password protected" - seems like a fairly common situation to me but they have provided no easy way to do it.
Summary: I've had this printer for about 5 years. I mostly use it to print documents in B&W and occationally print a photo or two. So by no means is it over used or not used enough. Not great on ink usage, runs out without telling you it's low. Is complicated to print photos. Printer has two trays and will sometimes want to use the back tray for what seems like no reason, forcing you to either move your paper or restart the printing, both annoying when all you want is it to...
Summary: Piece of garbage. Paper wouldn't feed properly--spent half an hour cleaning using instructions from manual. Turns out that roller is permanently stuck. Shouldn't happen after such a short time. DON'T BUY!!
Summary: The only reason that I got this printer was that it was the only one I could find that would use the same kind of ink. Prior to this I had the IP3300 died on me after only two ink changes and I have a bunch of leftover ink. I was very disappointed with Canon and it would have cost more than a new printer to repair the printer head on the old printer so begrudgingly I ordered this one.
