Canon PixMA Ip2702 Quite reliable works just fine and economical for a good go to printer
6 September 2014
Summary: It's almost a year and this printer performed each and every time very well. Yes, Setup is easy, fast. I used it primarily for very important documents that I had to print, and even with black ink rather low it still printed out what I needed.
Conclusion: I love the small size and the quality of the prints. I downloaded the drivers from Canon's web site which gives me so much control of printing. It comes with a CD but my laptop won't play CD's.
Pros: reliable, Easy Setup, Small Footprint, High Quality Output
Summary: This printer isn't state of the art, but it seems to compare very well with the older, more expensive Canon photo printer it replaced. When printing photos, I can't really tell the difference between the two printers, even though my older printer used more colors. Text looks pretty decent too.
Conclusion: This little prnter is obviously not professional grade in features or construction, but it is an incredible bargain for the persson who just needs a printer occasionally, or is not engaged in high-output printing.
Pros: reliable, Easy Setup, Small Footprint, High Quality Output, easy to use, super value for the price!
Cons: Slow Print Speed, Flimsy Construction, just not pro quality
Summary: I love this printer. Great price, does go through ink pretty quickly when printing high volumes like holiday cards. Otherwise, you can make the cartridges last a couple of months with normal (3-5 prints a week) printing volume. The quality of the prints is really impressive, IMO.
Conclusion: The pixma 2702 was a good choice for me as a home printer. The print quality is very good and while the cartridges are somewhat pricey - compared to my last printer - a Canon i350, they are still cheaper than many competitors.
Pros: Easy Setup, High Quality Output, fast print speed, easy to use
Conclusion: I replaced a Pixma iP1700 with the iP2702. The 2700 is adequate, but iit is slower and noisier than the 1700. I haven't owned it long enought to gauge the length of service of the ink cartridges.
Pros: Easy Setup, Small Footprint, High Quality Output, easy to use
