Summary: i bought 4 of these last week. I received it and opened to find that there are no ink cartridges included. Nowhere in the listing is that noted! I don't know who is responsible or accountable, but I would like to warn my fellow consumer. I am stuck with these because I need printers for my business. I had to go to wal-mart and get the cartridges which costed about $50 for both color and black, but multiplied by 4 for each printer. wow wow. amazon has been so good to me.
Summary: The printer was shown in the box. When I received it, the box had been opened and the ink cartidges were removed. No wonder the price. I think the ad was misleading, ahowing the printer in its box.
Summary: OK, first off I did not buy this printer online. I don't buy Chinese made items if at all possible so I've got to handle the box. To anyone considering the i2700 it's an excellent buy. Due to the collapse of construction in my hometown I'm maintaining a second residence where I've got work. I left my large format HP at my home office and bought this little beauty for standard printing. It works excellent. It was easier to setup than any HP I've used.
Summary: My ip2700 lasted about 6 months and developed a 5200 overheat code, permanently disabling it. Another in a long line of trash inkjet printers to add to my pile. It doesn't matter what brand, they're all crap and made to break.
Summary: Bought at Frys for $20 on pallet stack sale. I checked how much the ink cost for this printer in the next isle and it cost $30 for black & color ink. I told my friend that I should just buy all the printers just for the ink! Yes, it came with ink! I really don't print much but it works just fine when I do. I don't print photos and such, just misc. stuff with some color. Really not bad for a $20 printer.
Summary: I bought this printer to replace a cheap HP that would no longer feed paper. I did not expect much more than an everyday printer. I do not use it for photos or anything like that. I did try a few 4x6 prints just to see how it did. Detail was good, but the color was not correct (too much blue). I did not play with it much so I may have been able to fix it, but I do not intend to use it for photos anyway. It prints fast and text looks good.
Canon PIXMA iP2700 gives you good value for money but it's not the best choice for printing pictures

Excerpt: I got this printer when I was a student, I was looking for something cheap and easy to install, that wouldn't stop working after a couple of months! I was perfectly happy with my choice. Canon PIXMA iP2700 is very reasonably priced, it comes from a brand that you can trust and it is really easy to set up. It is also smart and smallish, perfect for my student room!
Summary: I have this printers I think for 3 or 4 years now and really like it. The only thing you have to bear in mind is that there is no tray coming together and so I am using the tray from my previous Epson printer (that's why Ive given 4 stars and not 5). The ink is relatively cheap as well. The thing I love is the fact that it comes with some maintenance tools like autopower (turs off after a few minutes idle), quiet mode, roller and bottom place cleaning etc.
Summary: Had this printer before i purchased from this company in germany. These germans provided a two pin plug yes A TWO PIN PLUG, so be cautious when you purchase from them. Luckily i had a spare 3 pin plug. The reason I brought this printer, is that i had the same printer i bought from Argos, however Argos have stopped selling them so i purchased from the germans who seem to conning people recently Also i had a slight issue when i tried to install this version of the printer...
