Great as a printer, but consider a 3-in-1 if you want to scan/copy.

Summary: I have owned the Canon PIXMA IP2600 for several years and found it to be of good quality. I recently acquired an Epson 3-in-1 to be able to scan and copy (also prints). I continue to use the PIXMA, primarily for black and white, as it holds more paper and the ink cost is less. A few months ago my laptop became damaged and had to be replaced.
Summary: I bought this printer mostly because they last a long time with much printing..the cartridges can easily be refilled without the printer shutting down until you buy new...a plus because the newer printers wont let you do that...saves money and with everyday use i have one thats been used over a year..excellent..
Summary: Precise, high-quality text, graphics, and Photo printing is a snap with the iP2600. While OEM ink cartridges can be a little pricey, remanufactured or refilled versions will deliver satisfactory results at greatly reduced cost. Overall, the simplicity of operation, and software options lend to the fine attributes of this superb Canon machine.
Summary: Remarkably good printing quality in a reasonably-priced product. Replacement ink is readily available in OEM, both standard capacity PG-30/CL-31, and more volumnous 40/41 series. While the OEM may be a bit pricey, Remanufactured units work well, and are considerably less expensive. The only downside is that the Remans will not display ink levels.
Summary: This printer is the best out there hands down. Will print everything from photos to envelops. Clear and crisp colors and great ppm speeds. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality inkjet at a reasonable price.
