Summary: Bought this to replace an old Canon PIXMA IP1600, they use the same ink cartridges and I was having problems constantly with the IP1600. Upon arrival of the 'new' printer, it seemed to work ok, but then I ran into the same problem of an error every time I attempted to print.
Summary: This is a pretty good "Cheap" printer, which is why I bought it. The print quality is good. Setup is easy and so far "INK" is my only complaint. Canon OEM ink is expensive, but this printer doesn't work without it because of the Canon microchip they put in the ink cartridges.
Summary: I have this printer. It is my second. While I would have kept the printer for it's printing quality, I chose to buy a new one. The ink cartridges alone can cost $35.00 and yet this brand new printer, with ink, cost only $24.00. My first printer was having a problem with the paper feeding.
Summary: This was a gift. I was looking for a printer for my sister. She needed something that would be easy on cartridge refills. I picked this one because of the price and it should do everything she needs it for. So far so good. :)
