There are b etter options to spend you hard-earn dollars on

Summary: CHEAP-CHEAP-CHEAP You get what you pay for! I generally liked the features of this printer, and being a very light user, it should have filled my needs nicely. Speed is really slow, but again for the little I use a printer, that was fine and to be expected for an inexpensive model. After it clicked, popped, whirred and sounded like a thrashing machine for a VERY long warmup time, it would produce a nice quality print or picture.
Summary: Length:: 1:25 Mins This video is for the Canon IP2000 photo printer. Gargabe is my review as it failed only after 4 months! The ink cartridges (if generic) do not tell the ink level and don't last for more that about 8 photos. I purchased this printer for about $28 bucks and you really do get what you pay for. Please buy a quality product and spend the money for you will have it for years, like all other printers.
Summary: I must be doing something wrong. I purchased this printer and it prints fine regular documents but all the photos come out like ghost printings..they are there but the colors are all totally washed out--barely there at all.
Summary: If you run out of color ink, it is impossible to use only black ink because it keeps asking to insert the color ink cateridge and refuse to print even though you set it up to use only black cateridge.
Product did not work and the Canon service was not very goog

Summary: The new printer straight out of the box showed a jam signal. The Canon service technician on the phone could not help us. We are suppose to find a Canon service dealer and have them repair it.
Summary: I bought this printer over a year ago. I only used black ink - but lo and behold when I went to print something in color - there was no colored ink left! Besides the fact that it prints a minimal amount of black type - and the fact the ink costs a fortune! You pay for this printer on the backside. It is definitely not worth the $50.00 it costs. If you do buy it be prepared to have a lot of ink cartridges on hand because you will need them.
Summary: Waste of time & money. I got this printer because I just needed a home printer to print out maybe 10-15 pages a MONTH. Not a lot. The cartridges that came with it didn't last long, but I expected this as the ones they include are usually smaller capacity. Since the replacements were almost as expensive as the printer, I refilled the cartridges, and they worked fine. About 2 weeks later, I went to print again, and the printer said both carts were of ink... they weren't.
Summary: This is a cheap printer, and I don't mean merely the price. The feeder on mine went bad in less than a year. It would only intermittently grab the paper to print and times when it did it would start printing further down the page than I specified. Color ink doesn't last very long and, for me, the prints came out with faded color after a while. Avoid.
Summary: Seems a very flimsy product, very plastic-oriented, if you know what I mean. Lightweight, and I have XP at home and it wouldn't work. The manual lists VISTA as it's WINDOW option. I went onto the web site (no Canon customer service on the weekend I called) and downloaded their XP driver, but the printer and my computer still weren't talking to each other, so I had to return the product.
