Summary: I was given this printer by a friend when he got a new one with more functions. This printer is just a printer, not a scanner or anything else but it is small enough to fit on my desk without overwhelming me and prints nice, clear copies. It's been functioning flawlessly for several years. It's been the most reliable printer I've used in a long time.
Summary: My old PIXMA broke and I got the same printer again because I knew that the prints would be great. The colors are bright, the details are sharp and the authentic Pixma cartridges last a long time.

Summary: This is my second printer in two years. Works beautifully and at an inexpensive price. Uses Canon #30 & #31 ink cartridges. Since I print all the time (10-30 sheets per day), this little printer is just great!!

Well I was frankly blown-away by the print quality. For written material this is about as good as it gets. Strikingly crisp text, no bleeding ever, easy to read, outstanding. By far the best text I have ever seen on an inkjet printer.
Summary: After a horrible experience trying to buy a printer on eBay, in desperation to get a printer I went to Office Depot, where the clerk recommended this printer. He said, "Don't be fooled by the price, it has won awards."
