Print speed of a photograph with a 4 by 6 inch size reaches 70 seconds. It also uses a ChromaLife100 system to produce photographs that are not only beautiful but long lasting as well. The Canon Pixma iP1800 printer is fairly easy to use, with only two buttons on the device and intuitive drivers and software. However, it did exhibit some annoyances, such as having to manually set the printer to account for different paper thicknesses, which most printers handle automatically. I have the 1800 model (Canon Pixma ip1800) and there is a factory flaw in the paper feed mechanism so that the printer cannot actually print. They are sending me a new one, but I have already spend SO MUCH TIME dealing with other issues the printer presented out of the box; Vista compatibility problems, missing cables, etc. Caveat emptor!
