Excerpt: OK, so I got this to make my life easier, but maybe I'm just not getting it. I need this for out in the field; so that I can print out letters, etc from my mobile phone. So far, I haven't even gotten to use it one time!!

Summary: Thr Printer doesnt have a wifi feature and takes forever to start up. Every time you want to print, you have to turn on the printer and it takes about 2-3 minutes to boot up and print Its very portable and compact but very expensive for what your getting.
Excerpt: I purchased this one because of it's small size, it's manual feeder (so I can print my DVD labels & card stock) and it's a brand I have come to trust. Sadly, the photo color tends toward the red end of the spectrum.
Pros: Easy Setup, Easy To Use, Fast Print Time, Great Overall Quality, Portablebattery Option

Summary: I don't know what it is about Canon, but I have had mixed results with their products. Advantages - (1) this is a very portable printer, it is small enough to fit into my computer bag and doesn't take a lot of room when you set it up, (2) it produces a very crisp page, and (3) is reasonably fast.
Excerpt: I purchased the printer to take to Cuba, a country without access to printers. Printed 5 puppet scripts (54 pages, double spaced) and exhausted the black ink cartridge. Other than that it is a dream!
Pros: Accurate Colors, Easy Setup, Easy To Use, Fast Print Time, Sharp Tones & Colors
Cons: Black Hole For Ink, Pricey Ink Replacement, Too much ink used
Conclusion: I am a traveling Nurse I was looking for a small printer to take with me. I love canon products so my husband bought me the ip100. After reading reviews it sounded like a good choice. On the website it said nothing about needing a printer cable.
Pros: High Quality Output, fast print speed
Cons: Difficult Setup, need bu-30 bluetooth adapter for printer, need printer cable, need bluetooth adapter for pc if yours does not ha

Conclusion: we used to have canon portable printer half size smaller of this i think bj series.. but the print head needs to be replaced & expensive so we decided to buy this. it doesn't include a battery unlike the bj series. then should the black or color ink goes low, you can no longer use the printer.
Pros: fast print speed, easy to use
Cons: unreliable, expensive ink, no battery included, ink not easily available
