Canon fodder

Vince, Amazon
11 February 2015
  • Summary: Prints fast, scans, easy set up. Ink prices not too crazy. Compact as well, not a large footprint. Does NOT come with a USB cable, bear in mind. This is advertised on the product page and packaging, so no surprise.

Like A Great Inexpensive Scanner With Color Printing For Free

Steve Thomas, Amazon
9 February 2015
  • Summary: Inkjet printers tend to be slow, expensive to keep full of ink, noisy, and they shake like the dickens. Color lasers are dreadfully expensive, and monochrome printers don't do color at all, but they are fast, almost silent, and they cost a tenth of much for tomer as ink for a color inkjet.

Want a good printer, then pay more and do not get this one! I warn you!

Raquel Cruz, Amazon
6 February 2015
  • Summary: Pay more for a better Canon Product, this one doesn't even grip the paper and remains clicking away. After it does such, it then displays errors!

and it sounds like this is a pretty common issue with this printer

Amity Hewitt, Amazon
23 January 2015
  • Summary: We had this printer for only 3 weeks when it started saying "Error, paper jam". However there was no paper jammed, nor had there been. In looking online the only solution I found for this problem was to have the printer serviced.

Great Value for Basic Printer

E. M. Lisansky "mrnews", Amazon
22 January 2015
  • Summary: An excellent basic multi-function at this price point (paid $39). Came in 2 days (Prime), was relatively easy to hook up, using USB cable from previous printer. A few hiccups on driver installation, that might have been operator error, but now works smoothly.

Missing Pieces Evidently the Norm.

Tanager, Amazon
12 January 2015
  • Summary: Full disclosure: I haven't used this thing yet. Why? Well because it doesn't actually COME WITH THE CORD to connect to the computer. Had they been up front about that in any way I would have ordered a cord and had it shipped for free. But it's too late now.

I don't like it. I haven't been able to get it ...

rebeca.madrid, Amazon
1 January 2015
  • Summary: No, I don't like it. I haven't been able to get it to scan and it only prints one copy at a time, so if I need 5 copies of the same letter I have to press start 5 times. That's press print once and wait till that letterprints, then press print again and wait for that one to print, then...

Very compact, inexpensive printer

Jon, Amazon
23 December 2014
  • Summary: This really compact printer arrived way ahead of schedule. I was able to activate it with little difficulty, although the pictographic "Getting Started" folder that came with the item was none too clear in the sequence of needed maneuvers.
