Amazing printer for the $$$
15 August 2011
Summary: Comments about Canon LBP7200Cdn: Bought this printer for home use. It replaced my HP inkjet and I have to say I'm very happy with my purchase. I am an infrequent user and this printer is perfect for me. If you're running a business you probably would want something a little faster. It's pretty quiet for a laser printer. I printed a couple of pictures and the colors are outstanding. I was truly surprised how clear the pictures were.
Summary: Comments about Canon LBP7200Cdn: I bought this printer to replace a five years old competitor. The Cannon is much faster and the print quality on graphics is stellar. This appears to be a great printer with one puzzling problem: when multiple color docs are spooled up in the print queue, the footprint of the prior print appears in yellow on the next print. This seems to be alleviated by waiting for each document to finish printing before starting the next. Aargh.
Pros: Accurate Colors, Efficient, Fast, Quiet, Sharp Detail
Conclusion: I enjoyed my new printer for only about 2 months before the duplex feeder "fell out" for no particular reason, and I had to take it for repair. It has good toner efficiency and is quite fast. Noise levels aren't too bad either. Also have common troubles with the network features. EXCELLENT size for a colour laser printer. I would still recommend the product but make sure you know what you're doing with your home or work network.
Conclusion: The 7200Cdn does the lot. Lightning quick print speeds in either black & white or colour means never having to wait for a document again - even graphics-heavy presentations. With the optional pager input tray I can fit up to 550pgs so I'm never running out of paper. Its the ultimate small office printer. Whats not to love?
Pros: Reliable, Durable, Superior build quality, Easy to use
