Summary: I bought this printer for 1 thing only: to print text which I do a lot of. 1 word-AWESOME. Cheap ink; i only replace the black since I'm only printing text. About 7-8 dollars; probably can get it cheaper if I shop around on the internet. Not thirsty. Reliable as hell. Supercheap printer. I occasionally clean the inkjet heads, etc. but barely spend any time on maintenance. It maybe a little slow on the warmup and a little noisy for some but I don't think so.
Summary: ok, let's be blunt. Here's the bad: 1) It can shake almost violently, which is rather disconcerting. 2) Ink runs out quick... but I think that's because the one they ship it with is pretty much empty to begin with. 3) Noisy. So noisy there's actually a "nighttime" option in the driver set up to make it go slower and make less noise. 4) Paper intake seems... questionable, but no mess ups yet. 5) Borderless prints seem to cut off some of the picture around the edges.
Summary: This is a wonderful printer. I am a college student, bought this because it was cheap (fourty-five dollars). The USB works fine, the speed is fine. the quality is wonderful (for text, i didn't try out the photo settings). It not that loud. Cool feature is that you can remotely turn it off (but not on). The ink cartridges are cheap (around seven). So what more does one need? 10 ppm draft, 7 ppm normal. more than acceptable.
Summary: I bought this printer because my old canon stopped working. This printer prints ok, but it is noisy. It warms up like everytime i would print. But overall, for the price of replacement ink cartridges, it is a pretty nice printer.
Summary: This printer surprised me. For being the price that it is, (cheaper than replacing the ink in my HP) it is super. If the instructions are followed, it is very easily installed in under 10 minutes. It is small and lightweight, but powerful. It is alot faster than my other printer and the black ink is powerful also. The photos really shocked me though.
The best printer for the price of any competitors' cartridge

Summary: INSTALLATION DO NOT INSTALL BEFORE YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. DO NOT CONNECT BEFORE YOU INSTALL THE SOFTWARE. DESIGN The best I've seen. Small footprint. Depending where it's used, it can be set up as is. Just lift the paper holder and it's set. TECHNICAL achievements The best user solution. Canon PACKS the PRINT HEAD and print cartridges separately.
Summary: After fighting with the Compaq A1000-All-In-One for almost three years, I am so satisfied with this printer. I received this printer yesterday and had it up and running in under 10 minutes. The quality is excellent! I recommend this printer to anyone looking for a new or replacement printer like I did.
Summary: I bought this to replace a Lexmark Z35 that went through pricey ink cartridges like a child goes through candy. In sharp contrast, this printer takes very [inexpensive] cartridges that seem to last a reasonable amount of time. I didn't have any problems with setup or with the driver software. Print quality is very good for B&W or color text and graphics. I have not done any serious photo printing yet, so I can't comment on that.
Summary: This printer was so easy to install. It prints fast enough. And it's small enough it doesn't take up a lot of space. I would suggest it for anyone who has kid that love to print or does a little printing from a home computer.
