Summary: I recently purchased a Imageclass LBP6200D. Canon makes good laser printers, but indulges in bad business practices. One star off: giving a starter cartridge, and not advertising it adequately on the package. Another star off: USB 2.0 printer chord not included in the package. Yet another star off: No place to put reviews on your USA website. Bad business practice! As a company, Canon lost a lot of brownie points here!
Summary: Overall, this is a great laser printer. But it is difficult hooking up to a LAN. You need to install the NetSpot Device Installer from the Canon utility disc and reset the network board in the laser printer. Once you have done this the device (printer) should show up as ready and all you have to do is install it as a network printer from the Windows control panel. Remember to disable any firewall before using NetSpot. Also. the Canon support is not too helpful.
