Summary: Great little printer. For the price, I didn't expect much at all, but I prefer it to my HP inkjet that cost 3x as much. It's only 600 DPI, so don't expect brilliant illustrations or shading, but if most or all of your printing is texts and basic graphics, you cannot go wrong with this little workhorse.
Summary: I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this little printer!!! If you are looking for a workhorse for your home or home office, this little gem is the bomb whether you are using a Mac* or Windows PC. Here's the rundown: Setup and Install - super quick, super simple *Mac users - go to Canon's website and download the driver then go to System Prefs, Printers and add it. Print Quality - excellent for the price point.
Summary: This printer has been a godsend for my college dorm! It has saved me from having to go to the library and print late at night. It is plug and play with the Mac, you can find cheap toner refills (if you look for them), and has a small footprint. In relation to other laser printers, this was cheap but still high quality! At the time, I only paid $49 for the unit and USB cable. A year later, I've had a major hiccup with the printer that has rendered it inoperable.
Bad installation file from Cannon but once past that a great printer

Summary: Unlike most others here, the install for me was hell and took two hours. I installed on Windows 7 65 bit. I went to the the Cannon site to get the drivers and under the name of this printer they gave me just this: LBP6000_R150_V110A_W64_us_EN_1.exe I tried everything to get this to recognize my usb connection and no go; it just did not work at all.
