CP 200 Printer Gypo

Jiminator, Amazon
8 May 2012
  • Summary: This is one of the worst pieces of junk I have ever purchased. I've had it a few years and it never has worked right. The paper feeder carriage never quite fit in to the main printer and if you don't have it just right, it stops printing. Don't, I repeat DO NOT even consider this POS. Buy something else!

Great pictures, some hassles

John J. Deis "John in San Diego", Amazon

  • Summary: I bought this printer on an impulse after taking lots of digital pictures with my Canon A80 on a vacation. There is no warning about how pricey this printer can become. It came with 5 postcard size sheets and a cartridge that would print only the 5 pictures. Once they were gone, since you hadn't been warned, it was back to the store for another ink cartridge and paper. You have to buy an ink cartridge and paper pack for the number of prints you.

Good prints and easy to use.

  • Summary: Of course, yo can get prints cheaper at the local drug store but it's nice to print photos of people on the spot at parties or social events. The thermal printers, such as the Canon CP series, means that there is no problem of clogged ink jets if you don't print things very often. It's a fun thing which goes well with my digital camera. This Canon printer produces clear and permanent prints of the best quality.

Canon Cp-200 Printer

  • Summary: This compact Canon printer is wonderful for home or travel use. One can print photos using the dye-sublimation ribbon and special paper to enjoy long lasting almost water-proof prints. The colors come out sharp , vibrant, and detailed. Yes, the prints are only 4 x 6 but when printed on the post card stock will provide easy to use and send post cards for friends and family.

Printer not worth the time or money!

John Smith ""Doe"", Amazon
13 December 2008
  • Summary: I received this printer as a gift. I thought it was a great idea to be able to take the printer to family functions, take a picture, and give it to the family right away! I only had the printer two years, with little use and many problems. The paper that is supplied with the ink kit began to jam. This became an expensive ordeal, considering I could simply take the digital images to a local store and have them printed for as low as 17 cents a copy.
