Summary: I just like it. I wish canon would dump half the things they now make and go back to this one. For those that just want to print, i850 can not be beat. Company executives misguidedly think public wants a printer that will do everything and only print photos.
Summary: I like Canon printers. My favorite Canon was an i550. It was a workhorse which "sipped" ink from its 4 cartridges. I print a great many color photos, and the quality of the color printing was very good.
Summary: I bought this Canon i850 inkjet printer to replace one that I have had for several years. The other printer quit working, so I took it to a repair place and after a month they said they couldn't get the parts to fix it.

When I opened the box - there was a printer cable included, fresh supply of new 4 catridges and a CDRom of driver/software(burnt from original Canon...
Summary: I've used only Canon inkjet printers for several years, after trying all the others. I like the speed, the four-tank system, the simple setup, the longevity. The i850 is the best of its generation (dye inks), producing excellent color photos, comparable to what I get from my Canon S9000 (a six-ink...
