Summary: The Canon i850 photo printer deserves to be in the spotlight. It is an amazing consumer product. I bought this printer 5 years ago, and not only has it been reliable, it still prints photos just as well as all the new printers out there.
Can't really fault it, but with the newer models, I wish....

Summary: I've had my printer for 3 months and am happy enough with it. It setup easy, haven't had any problems with it gumming up or causing any lines on my photos. I don't print photos from a digital camera, but from my own scanned prints and they come out okay.
Summary: I just purchased this printer in New Zealand. I got it a little cheaper than usual as they are an end of line item I hear. I had read rave reviews before purchasing. As soon as I got it set up and the print head aligned I printed out a couple of test photos using Canon Photo Paper Plus glossy they...
Summary: This is a very reliable printer to use with a Mac running OS X (10.2.4). I like this printer so much that I recommended purchasing two of them--one for my use and one for my boss to use. I purchased this printer in December 2002 and it has performed flawlessly.
Summary: I read many reviews before buying this printer. This printer has more than exceeded my expectations. Quailty, Speed, Price are all amazing. I have printed approx 200 photos (4x6) and just now I have to buy a new cartridge (only 1 out of 3). Not bad!
Summary: For the price you can't find a better printer. Anyone who thinks to buy an HP or Lexmark should first consider the price of replacement ink cartridges before they buy. With the Canon, the price of ink cartridges are 1/3 the price and last just as long.
Summary: I own the i850 and its exellent and I like the idea of individual tanks. The printer is extremely fast and the quality of photos are perfect but text is a bit fuzzy on regular paper.Im glad I bought this printer because its quiet fast has exellent quality affordable and easy to manage. One more thing...
Summary: This printer does an excellent job with both text, graphics and photos. The key to good quality is using the right paper. Text looks slightly fuzzy if you use regular paper (e.g. 20/24 lb paper).
Summary: I believe that the Canon i850 printer is the overall best in its class for several reasons. 1st: Quality. I use the i850 mainly as a photo printer and the photos it prints are virtually perfect. I have a 2Mp camera and even the 8 X 10's come out very nice.
Summary: I bought the printer for my architectural work at the college. We have presentations almost every week, and rendered computer images are really necessary for successful presentation. Due to the great difficulty I faced at the school's clusters, I purchased this photo printer, to save time and money.
