Summary: I do a lot of photo prints so I wanted an inkjet with variable paper sizes that doesn't do anything but print, and this machine delivers outstanding quality and color. When my old one died (probably 10 years or so old!) I was loath to "try" something else, so I turned to good old ebay, where older is better - right? - and found this one. I like it especially because I can adjust the printhead, clean it, clean the ink jets, etc. etc., myself, and I am NOT a techie!
Summary: I was really glad to find a Canon i560 on ebay. I had my previous one for about 10 years and love the simplicity and reliability of it. The print heads can be pricey and that is what seems to go on these printers, so it was more reasonable to get a used printer.
Summary: super printer, easy on ink and high quality pictures, 10 year old unit still working great!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Summary: The Canon i560 is a fine printer. It is fairly fast, its ink tanks are easy to refill, with no setting chip, and it has parallel and USB connectivity. It has dust covers both for the paper feed and paper exit, although you must remember to open the exit door or you will get a jam. Of course it can be left open, and it serves as a paper catching tray.
Refill your cartridges and it pays for this printer

Summary: It is hard to beat the Canon i560 printer, because the print quality is high, and you can save lots of money by refilling the ink cartridges. Doing so pays for the printer. The ink cartridges in this printer are see-through, so you can see what you are doing very easily. It's a little messy when you first try refilling, but the more you do it, the less messy you can make it. I LOVE this printer!
Summary: Printer prints great pic's and not as costly on ink, Can print 50 plus Pic's 8 1/2 x 11's before one of the 4 ink cartrages hits empty not so on my i9900 printer plus you have 8 ink tanks to replace. Canon should put back into production.
Summary: My recent purchase of a printer was not only easy but satisfying. It reminded me of the old days with the mom and pop stores and real personalities trying their best to please you so that you'd come back and be a regular customer. People were working hard on their future and not so much the here and now. It isn't always that way but when it is it can be very satisfying. Most of us work hard for our money and try to be prudent and cost conscious when we make a purchase.
