  • Summary: This is a great printer. The ink stays fresh even when not in use for days. Clear, precise prints. Love it for everything.

Low cost to operate

aeroflyer12r, Ebay
18 December 2009
  • Summary: The first one I had lasted a long time. Its not the fastest, but the main feature of this printer is the cartridges. If you look hard enough you can get replacement cartridges at less than 3 dollars. The machine uses only two so the price is considerably less to operate.

Excellent little printer

kidvegas24, Ebay
9 April 2007
  • Summary: This printer is far and away the best printer for "inexpensive" printing needs. They are highly sought after because they use the Canon BCI-24 ink cartridge which is one of the least expensive ink cartridges out there today.

Another Bad One

B. Nelson "bruce3404", Amazon
3 April 2007
  • Summary: I bought this about two years ago, but only for a travel printer. It started getting daily use about a year ago when my wife started using it. No problem with print quality, but it's now unusable as it continually paper jams due to the rollers pulling the paper thru at an odd angle.

Canon i350 photo printer! Excellent buy!

bird-carpenter, Ebay
1 March 2007
  • Summary: Outstanding printer with photo quality. Buyers will soon figure out that some of these canon printer models like this one have very very inexpensive ink and they are the few in the world of printers that do. YOu get photo prints and the ink tanks only cost about .80 to $3 each!

Vendor is out of its mind

Caradoc, Amazon
27 January 2007
  • Summary: This vendor is loony if they think someone will pay $230 for this printer. When it first came out it was about $60. I contacted them about this, but they did not reply.

Canon does it again

S. S. "yosteve.com", Amazon
29 September 2005
  • Summary: I feel bad for the people that didn't have a good experience with their printer. I cannot speak for the reliabilty across a number of printers but I can vouch for how great mine is. I love my printer. I have an Epson C80 and several C60's at work. My C80 never really worked right.

Print heads fail

S, Amazon
14 May 2005
  • Summary: I have both the i250 and the i350. The i250 print head failed after 3 months of use (blank lines in the middle of words), but was still under warranty, so I managed to persuade Canon to send me a new print head. BTW, the print head costs about $45 to $50... almost the same as cost of the printer.

Canon i350 Ink Jet Printer

Mr Flibble "Da No", Amazon
24 March 2005
  • Summary: Quite a good printer for the price Only problem is as another reviewer pointed out below, it uses the BCI-24 print head, which isn't as available as the more popular BCI-21. But it can be purchased from around £45 if you Google for it. Cartridges are quite small, but relatively inexpensive.
