A convenient, small printer, but with bothersome quirks.

Summary: I purchased this printer after a very bad experience when I traveled away from home and needed to print out a simple document. So I had my laptop and I saw those ads about a business that offers to be your office away from home. Well, I could not get the document printed out.
Summary: I purchased the Canon BJC-50 in August of 1998. It has taken at least three hours to three days of effort to get it to work for each time that I have occasionally used it. I have used it mainly for color printing, and also for scanning with the optional scanning cartridge.
Summary: Even though it said that the infrared wireless printing only works with Windows 95, I found that it worked just as well with Windows ME installed in my laptop. Two great benefits of the BJ-50: 1. Infrared wireless printing (if your laptop supports it) 2.
Summary: I love my BJC 50! Works great in Windows 7! I can print wireless or scan with the same unit! I recently stumbled upon this gem and asked myself where it has been all my life! Didn't know these even existed! It is perfect for small spaces. It's so tiny for all it does.
Summary: I've had this printer for over 6 years, and it works as well now as it did out of the box. It is very light, although the wall adapter is bulky and tedious. The Li-on battery stays charged "forever" - and I mean months. Original battery in mine.
