Excerpt: I contacted company and they indicated 'too bad' that's the way it works. I seriously want to return it! The machiune uses 3/4 inch of expensive tape to 'get ready' then prints lable 2 inches long (that was what I wanted.) But to waste 3/4 inch every time? thats rediculous!
Pros: Compact Size
Cons: Difficult To Use, I Contacted Company And G, Works Poorly
Excerpt: Worked well for a few weeks, then jammed. Replaced cartridge and it shredded the new cartridge. Emailed Brother, got an auto reply asking me to call a toll free number. Called toll free number and was left on hold over 45 minutes, never got to talk to a human.
Excerpt: The printer is really nice but the software will not work with this printer on one of my PC's and I can't get customer Support to respond to my problem, 3 weeks and several emails to them and they won't even respond. Stay away from Brother Printers!
Excerpt: CAnnot install this product which apparently is designed only for use with Windows Vista (don't get me started on Vista!!!). I scrapped Vista long ago bacause it's a piece of junk. This product is totally worthless to me.
Excerpt: The excessive use of tape BEFORE EACH label prints makes this NOT a good choice. It waste about 1" of blank tape with each print. This is unacceptable and when I spoke to the rep about it she said that there was nothing I could do about it. It seems as if Brother as built is a nice way to keep people buying expensive label tape. I suggest that you buy the Dymo Label Writer machine. It is about $20.00 more but it does not waste tape or jam as easy.
