Changed my life

Paulash B., Newegg
21 January 2014
  • Pros: I bought this randomly since it was available for less than $10 never thinking I would really use it all that much. Ho.lee.sheizen. I use this thing all the time to label just about everything. At one point, when I first got the machine, I was so label-drunk that I actually put a sticker on my wi...
  • Cons: Wife does not appreciate it when you label her "wife" just in case "you forget."

Wife Loves it

lindsay k., Newegg
28 August 2012
  • Summary: we use rechargable batteries so we aren't worried but an ac option would be nice, side note: she hasn't become more organized she just started labling her mess...
  • Pros: quick easy battery powered
  • Cons: no ac cord included (costs almost as much as the unit)

Died on first label

Anonymous, Newegg
3 June 2012
  • Summary: Good looking unit with full keyboard; too bad.
  • Pros: Nice size and options.
  • Cons: All was well until I pressed "Print" for my first label. LCD display went out, and that was it. No label and nothing else. Followed the troubleshooting "Reset" procedure a few times, but no change. Pulled the batteries and tape cartridge; re-installed; but nothing.

Great

Bryan W., Newegg
25 February 2012
  • Summary: Highly recommended!
  • Pros: We use one of these at work all the time and I just picked one up on sale for $5.99 for personal use. Makes great labels and very easy to use. Cool framing and design options.
  • Cons: Cartridge prices aren't friendly at around $13-$17, but they do last and there's a good selection of sizes and colors online. Uses 6 AAA batteries, but you can buy 8-packs at the dollar store so no big deal.

Pleased

Justin E., Newegg
28 September 2011
  • Summary: You can buy the power adapters separately if you like but I suppose that depends on where you use it (on the go etc.) Just remember that it doesn't come with the batteries so be prepared to buy a package.
  • Pros: I'm really pleased with this product. I use a much fancier one at the office but really wanted something simple and portable for home use.
  • Cons: The cartridges are pretty expensive so I'm glad that I can combine orders with my business and home use and save money on a volume purchase. Really peeved that it doesn't come with the power adapter and requires 6 AAA batteries to operate. I feel like it could have been designed to use a lesser a...

Simply Perfect

Arden T., Newegg
24 August 2011
  • Summary: The batteries have lasted a couple weeks with alot of daily label printing. Now that I have the power adapter, everything is simply perfect. I see why they didn't package the power adapter with it. Overall cost. For those that will use it only a couple times a week or month, battery cost is OK.
  • Pros: Does what I need it to do. Prints out great labels any size I need, or color. Great to know that I can just switch out ribbon cartridges anytime I want to. No need to finish one color and size, before going to another one. Simple process and design. Batteries last a pretty good amount of time. An...
  • Cons: Probably would say it doesn't come with a power adapter. But then again, that is fine, read the other thoughts.

Got it for a steal

Daniel R., Newegg
21 August 2011
  • Summary: Tape is beyond expensive if you are going to get multiple ones, especially the wider 1 inch kind. Almost cheaper to keep buying the labeler for the free tape.
  • Pros: Lots of options i'll never even use. Got it on sale for 15 bucks. Works as advertised.
  • Cons: Little complicated with the advanced options, and somewhat difficult to tell which ones are selected at any given time. The 6 batteries is crazy, but it was clearly listed before i bought it, so no surprise.
