Awesome Printer - Wasteful of Label Tape

marys-marketplace, Ebay
2 September 2014
  • Summary: Let me start by saying I really like this label printer. The reason for the 3/5 starts is that the program tends to lock-up when doing larger runs (say 8 labels in a row) and I lose my information having to start over. However, the biggest con is that it doesn't print very close to the edge. I have to cut off about 3/4" of the blank label on both ends before I can use them; this is extremely wasteful and makes it much more expensive to operate.

Easy to use. Lightweight.

jinno3dn9, Ebay
1 February 2014
  • Summary: I have several label printers, including brother's handheld laminated label printers. (Handheld one's problem is always a typing error using a built-in keyboard.) Thus, using a PC to type is much easier especially what you see is what you can print feature via P-Touch Editor. CONNECTIVITY: 64BIT WINDOWS 7(ULTIMATE) USB connection Battery/Power Supply 6xAAA batteries needed unless you use an AC adapter.

Easy to use after minor adjustments

Robert Kaye, Amazon
15 September 2013
  • Summary: I like how easy this is to use right out of the box. I had to make a few adjustments to it in order to make it stop wasting space on the labels though because it would add a lot of unnecessary space in between labels.

Small, light wieght, battery operated label printer with no frills.

james.e.morgan1, Ebay
21 August 2013
  • Summary: This printer was purchased to be used in areas with limited or no power available. Its compact size and regular shape makes it easily portable. This printer a little slower than other thermal printers by this manufacturer, but the print quality is comparable. The printer has built-in memory for a lite version of the label design software, making it truely "plug and play" without leaving software on the computer.

not as practical as I had hoped

Karen Zanon, Amazon
18 July 2013
  • Summary: Unable to format the length of the label and the upgraded software option won't work with Windows 8. I have to hand cut all of my labels with scissors. Also, to have to attach to a pc and print, I should have chosen a label maker that would also print multiple lines for creating address/shipping labels in addition to file labels.

So easy to use!

Andree V., Amazon
17 July 2013
  • Summary: I think I've gone a bit crazy with labeling everything in my office and home. This unit is sooooo easy to use and the labels look awesome. I only wish this same machine could use wider tape with 2 or 3 lines of text. Oh well.
