Summary: We purchased these printers for mobile use and I have yet to be able to configure them to work through the bluetooth connection. There are no instructions and I've been on the Brother website all day trying to find some help with this issue. Ridiculous. Only buy it if you plan to keep it plugged in.
Summary: Remember those faxes of the 1980's-early '90s? The paper was thermal and you had to copy it for posterity. This is an improvement upon that. Back then, the resolution was around 96 dpi and the prints lasted a few months before turning brown.
Excerpt: Easy to set-up out of the box. Good instructions. Clear, sharp printing. Extremely small and lightweight- great for carrying on trips. Only issue: wish it could take multiple pages- must single-feed, but other benefits outweigh that small issue.
Pros: Compact Design, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Excellent Print Quality, Fast Operation, Reliable
Excerpt: First and foremost, the bad customer service I am referring to is Brother not B&H which I find to always be excellent. I only bought this because B&H is so good at returns. Getting help with the purchase from Brother was impossible. Clueless and literally no help even with the simplest of questions.
Pros: Compact Design, Fast Operation
Cons: Hard Setup, Horrible Software, Worst Customer Service
Summary: I purchesed this item, without reading the other reviews... and I payed the price. This item sucks. The printer comes with nothing. That's it, Nothing. No cables, no CD with software to use your cool new printer, NOT EVEN A USER MANUAL. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS. GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE.
Summary: I ordered this printer for my husband for Christmas and when it came it had nothing with it...no directions, no cords, nada. At the time this wasn't explained in the description either. When we called the company said that it was just a 'replacement' item.
Excerpt: This ltttle thermal printer is cordless. It uses bluetooth to print and has a battery with acceptable life for moderate use. Great for printing invoices and quotes while on location as long as one can live with the expense and shelf life of thermal paper.
Summary: This is a fantastic little piece of kit. It's reliable and incredibly small. I print using my netbook and everything couldn't be easier. The paper's stored inside in a little roll which means I don't have to carry it about. It's a thermal printer which means you don't need any kind of ink or toner.
