Summary: The scanner and copy functions work adequately for my basic needs. The printer part is near useless. I got the printer for school use and the ink needs to be replaced every 2 weeks after printing only about 40 pages. Most of it is wasted constantly during realigning/cleaning cycles.
Summary: this is the 3rd time in 6yrs im am looking at the mfc 210c printer, because i keep ink for this printer stocked up @ 44.00 per pack (overpriced)so i have 132.00 worth of new ink cartriges, what a waste now 1)printer head failure after 4yrs (not worth fixing twice the repair cost then buying a new one...
Summary: I have had this all in one for a few years now and can make these observations. You can adjust the dpi from about 200-600 effectively, the higher resolution slowing your scanning times considerably. It produces good copies and scans to .jpg and .pdf.
Summary: The product did'nt work for 3 times and went through lot of repack and send with Brother which was a pain. Brother kept replacing the printer. Once I got a working one it is working on and on. Have been using this printer for 5 years now. Good one.
Summary: I'm sadden to hear that this printer has caused so many problems. I bought mine over ten years ago and it wasn't until this year that it finally started to give up the ghost. Over ten years of relative trouble free operation.
Summary: When I first joined the "computer-age", back in 2006, I had no idea what I needed in a computer or printer. This unit was displayed at BJs Wholesale Club, for around $50. The ink cartridges were also available, around $15.00 for the three colors or 2 black cartridges.
