Excerpt: This printer is a good quality printer and is all that I need to provide for all my printing needs for my small business of 9 employees. I use it to print everything from pay stubs to business cards to advertising brochures.
Summary: I've been using my HL4570CDW printer for maybe a year and I'm very happy with it. Aside from an occasional shadow image on the first page, which then has to be reprinted, it works fine. I'm giving four stars instead of five because of this minor issue, which makes the printer just short of perfect. I have my cartridges refilled by Cartridge World and their cartridges have worked fine in this printer. So do recycle if you can.
Summary: I've gotten by with a color inkjet printer and B/W laser printer (both HP) for a number of years, but I had an obsession to get a color laser printer (though I don't really have the volume to need one). Watching Amazon's offerings and reading user reviews avidly, I finally narrowed the list down to the Brother HL4570CDW. I already had duplex on my old laser printer and required it on the new color laser.
Excerpt: I've worked with small office (inexpensive) laser printers for many years and this one has been the best I've uncovered so far. Speed, quality, performance have been excellent. It's the best B&W and color print quality I've found in this category, and it's perfect for professional docs and flyers. But I don't recommend the color printing for brochures or photos. I use a mac, and for some reason, I can't see ink levels on my mac. It just says "ok".
Pros: Decent Color Copies, Durable Construction, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Fast Print Time, Reliable
Cons: Mac Can't See Ink Supply, Mac Can't See Print Level
Summary: This has good function for the price but is noisy. No problems in terms of speed, paper processing, etc. Most users could get by with a cheaper machine, but in my solo law practice, I'll pay a little extra to get higher quality. Uses a lot of toner ($$).
Excerpt: Lives up to all the pros noted before. Great speed, fast start-up for each print job, compared to others we have had, easy using front page feed (for checks, etc). Good color, it matches the screen colors exactly so it has done everything we hoped for. Pretty quiet operation.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Fast Print Time
Summary: I am very happy with this purchase. I use this at home, and the wireless feature allows all family members to print from their laptops wherever they are in the house. It is very heavy, as some other reviewers noted. It was easy to set up, once I'd gotten my husband to help me place it on top of a file cabinet. I also use the printer for business, printing marketing literature. The colors print well.
Excerpt: Printer has only been in service for a week as it replaced our Okidata of 8 years. Printer was easy to setup on our wireless network. Print times are fast and the power save feature really puts it to sleep. I thought I turned it off the first time. The paper does seem to have a slight curl to it compared to my Oki, but not a big deal to me. Great price and fast shipping from J&R. No regrets yet!
