It goes through cartridges like nothing, it really is nothing short of staggering

Summary: This printer is an absolute racket. It goes through cartridges like nothing, it really is nothing short of staggering. Once any of the colors run out, you can't print in black. I don't print photos or anything color rich, just basic document here and there and I've had inkjet printers where the ink...
Excerpt: I truly dislike this printer-we really don't get along. Do not think this printer is designed for even a small business-which we are not! My Staples representative recommended this to me. Will not print more than 10 checks in the feeder-don't put 11 as it will pull 2 and the rest are out of number.
Summary: Print quality was piss poor, it went right back for a full refund. Brother in general isn't something to lean on for high quality print. We ended up purchasing a xerox machine (6280DN) instead which performed significantly better.
Great specs, poor print quality (color), and terribly slow to print first page

Summary: I purchased 4 of these printers (1 for home, 1 for my CEO's home and 2 for our office), and I just returned all of them. They seemed great on paper and from others reviews, it looked like a very promising printer. However, after using them for a few weeks, they had to be returned.

Summary: I have only had this printer a few days and it has lots of nice features. I got it to replace a Konica-Minolta magicolor 2430DL which produced great images (albeit slowly). I did a lot of research and decided I would try this Brother (the first Brother printer I have bought).
Summary: Good quality and speed when it comes to printing, but my main complaint about this printer is that it won't consume all the toner before signaling that the cartridge is empty. You then have to remove the toner, shake it, put it back in to get one more page at a time, for maybe another 5-6 pages.
Summary: I purchased this printer about six months ago to replace an HP color laser model I had. Immediately, I noticed that my color images had dot gain and color shift issues. I could live with that, but I wasn't thrilled at the quality loss in this new printer.
Excerpt: I really liked this printer and had no major issues with it until this week other than occasional having network connection issues from the wireless devices. A drum error message showed saying to clean the corona wires.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Lots of features, Reliable, Sharp tones & colors
Cons: Automatic toner use stop, Large Footprint, Too much toner used
Summary: This review is geared towards the customer service one buys when purchasing a new product. As for the purchased HL-4540 CDW printer we bought less than 7 days ago, simply stated, it never worked out of the box. It received the 'Print Unable 36' error and would never recover.
