Awful Graphics Print Quality. Can't Print a Solid Color Square Adequately.

Summary: This printer doesn't seem to be capable of printing solid regions of color consistently. When I printed a solid color square, there would be a regular jagged pattern of unprinted paper within the perimeter of the square. I wasn't expecting it to be able to print photos adequately, but I did expect it to be able to handle solid geometric shapes. Consumer Reports even said that this printer is very good at printing graphics, but I found this to be far from the case.
Summary: I replaced a BW Laser printer with this Color Laser. I use this mainly for printing documents, presentations, reports, etc. both BW and Color. I wasn't looking for a picture printer but pictures embedded in reports come out ok. Overall, very happy with the printer and the price I paid. No troubles after a little over a year of regular use.
Excerpt: This printer is a good quality printer and is all that I need to provide for all my printing needs for my small business of 9 employees. I use it to print everything from pay stubs to business cards to advertising brochures.
I paid $200 brand new on Ebay with free shipping for HL-3140CW. I love it.

Summary: I never bought this model Brother printer. Used item sale was cancelled. I bought the HL-3140CW new instead. I love it. I strongly recommend a Brother laser toner printer over any inkjet printer.
Great printer....must read for Brother printer owners

Summary: This is an excellent printer. I am on Amazon.com right now buying another to replace a unit 2+ years old. Extremely reliable and above average print quality. I wanted to make a comment and let everyone in on a secret. These toners will last longer if you reset them. When your printer stops and it says change the toner...don't do it. I make my toner last weeks longer and my office is a very heavy user. Follow these steps: 1. Clear any print jobs in the print queue.
Excerpt: I've had this printer for about two weeks and absolutely love it. No problems to date. Easy to install and set up wirelessly. So far, it has stayed on the network. A great feature is the ability to set it on monochrome so if you do a lot of black printing only, you are not blowing through the color cartridges (which will be used even if your document is just text unless you set it to monochrome). Printing envelopes is about the same effort as with other printers.
Pros: Durable Construction, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Fast Print Time, Low toner consumption, Reliable, Sharp tones & colors
Summary: I've gotten by with a color inkjet printer and B/W laser printer (both HP) for a number of years, but I had an obsession to get a color laser printer (though I don't really have the volume to need one). Watching Amazon's offerings and reading user reviews avidly, I finally narrowed the list down to the Brother HL4570CDW. I already had duplex on my old laser printer and required it on the new color laser.
Summary: It's big and a bit on the heavy side. But its a great price and does exactly what I want it to do. I've never had network issues like I've had with other network printers. The cartridges are easy to exchange out and the printer tells you when you need to order a replacement cartridge before running out of toner. I've had this printer now for over a year. The start up cartridges gave me lots of life. The unit does well on envelopes and card stock.
