Summary: We use this little workhorse in our home business. It is nice to have regular paper in the top tray and shipping labels in the bottom. Great print quality and the toner is much less expensive than HP brand. Don't try running recycled toner through these. We have had zero success finding a quality recycle.
Summary: I bought this to replace an HP b/w laser printer. I love this so much more. I use it nearly on a daily basis in my work and for family needs (kids' homework, personal, etc.). It has held up great. I love the two paper trays and the duplex ability. I have no complaints and I am really picky when it comes to these things. Recommend this to anyone. By the way, I use a MacBook Pro.
Network settings require a reset every now and then

Summary: I've set 2 of these up for different people and they both have the same exact problem where, after a few weeks of use, you can't print from any computer on the network. The only way to fix this is to factory reset the printer's network card settings, which is a royal pain if you have modified them. I e-mailed Brother's tech support and they tried to blame it on the network, even though initially I had the printer on a static IP well outside the DHCP range.
Summary: This is the lowest cost printer I could find with 2 trays. There is no display so you can't tell what the IP address is without printing 3 pages. The wireless card did not work well for me so I ran a cable to connect it. Several times the wireless card stopped connecting and I had to reset the printer and go through a lengthy procedure to get the wireless connection working. It has been fine since I attached the cable.
Summary: I have purchased two of these for my office to replace outdated HP printers. They have been working great for over 12 months and are very efficient. The wireless works great as does the duplexing function. That was the main reason for the purchase was the duplexing function. Plus it holds a full ream of paper over the two trays with the HL-5370-DWT version. The main reason for this review is to give a hint to use the full life of the toner cartridges.
Summary: This is my second Brother laser printer, and I am very satisfied with it's performance and ease of use. It's a great work horse, which is what I need. There are times when I print 300 pages for my work. The Brother HL-5370DW is an excellent value, and a very dependable printer.
Summary: Tried almost every troubleshoot strategies: cannot set up wireless for both window and pc, cannot set up dual tray for Mac, usb connection failed after couple days. Decided to return it to Amazon.
Summary: I bought this printer a week ago and use it for the home; so printing emails, articles off the web, my writing projects. Say an average of 10 pages a week. Also consider that this is replacing my 10 year old HP-4050 LaserJet. On the outside, this Brother is the same basic dimensions as the older HP-4050 - but, it at about 1/3 the weight. That alone is pretty nice. I have had absolutely no problems with this printer (knock on wood).
Summary: We've had good luck with these printers. They're reliable and the toner lasts a long time. It's a great printer for a small workgroup, and very Mac friendly. The big flaw is that it's a hassle to print envelopes. You have to open the back and flip two switches to change the fuser pressure. If you don't do this, the Brother will crumple the envelopes. So if you have to print envelopes regularly (like we do), look for another printer.
