Excerpt: Brother even replaced the printer twice with a refurbished printer and it broke again within 77 days. Then they wouldnt replace it. Constant error messages, constant restart required. sucks ink no crazy. Should have paid more for a real printer with a warranty. (The drum is only covered for 90 days, thats the part that breaks). BUYER beware- brother wont help you in anyway. I just bought a paper weight!
Excerpt: DO NOT BUY THIS COPIER, it is poorly designed, the documentation fails to disclose serious flaws and Brother support does not care. Specifically, to print an envelope through the manual feed you must open the rear door and change the position of two flimsy levers, if you fail to set the levers the printer wrinkles the envelope. You must insert the envelope until you feel the machine tug the envelope.
Rollers are defective and disintegrate. Brother is aware of the problem but won't do anything about it.

Summary: Loved this printer while it worked. Unfortunately it either has a very serious engineering defect or it's built to fail. Read the other reviews. All the 5 star reviews will be back soon. I used only OEM toner, had just replaced the starter black and was still on the original colors. The rubber paper grabbing rollers that touch the fusion roller disintegrated after less than 1200 prints, leaving pieces of rubber all over the fusion roller.
Excerpt: This printer started our strong, but as of yesterday I am having nothing but problems. My MacBook Pro cannot detect the wireless printer and I have tried and tried to reinstall the software but run into error messages and cannot complete the upload. I tried to connect via USB, but still there is no communication between the printer and my Mac. I have just about had it!
Excerpt: This printer is HORRIBLE! The print quality is fine, but it's the rest of it that's a problem. I bought it to print on labels and card stock, primarily, and for this purpose THIS PRINTER DOES'T WORK! You have to manually feed everything. The manual feed jams 2 out of 3 times at best--I just tried to print on card stock and the manual feed jammed 5 times in a row! It never grabs the paper straight, so all my signs and labels are crooked.
Prints great, but can over heat and melt the rollers.

Summary: As long as the printer functions its great. The problem for me is the rollers to the fuser got over heated and melted. When I called customer service they could not decide if it was under warranty or not. Said the fuser is not part of the warranty. If you buy this printer be warned that if it over heats for you as well you probably are not going to get it fixed under warranty.
Excerpt: The Brother 1370-CDW color laser printer appears to be an economical industrial printer made for small businesses (it weighs a ton!). The upfront cost is inexpensive (for a laser). However, the toner life is fairly short but with lots of ink left in when the printer tells you to replace. Then there is the problem of having 4 toner drums that only lasts 15,000 cycles.
Excerpt: Colors are very dull. Would not print text boxes that I used on Word Documents when the two other printers connected to my computer did. Brother Customer Service was very unhelpful in the situation. Ended up returning the product and going with a HP LaserJet Pro M451dn that I am very happy with.
Summary: I have spent over 2 hours on the phone with Brother technical support and still the problem has not been resolved. Pure cyan is really blue and pure magenta is more purple. Tried several work arounds - recalibrate, toner save mode off, new drivers, etc etc. Technical support was helpful but problem is still not solved. Still waiting on hardware support elevation to call me back.
