Excerpt: This printer started our strong, but as of yesterday I am having nothing but problems. My MacBook Pro cannot detect the wireless printer and I have tried and tried to reinstall the software but run into error messages and cannot complete the upload. I tried to connect via USB, but still there is no communication between the printer and my Mac. I have just about had it!
Excerpt: This printer is HORRIBLE! The print quality is fine, but it's the rest of it that's a problem. I bought it to print on labels and card stock, primarily, and for this purpose THIS PRINTER DOES'T WORK! You have to manually feed everything. The manual feed jams 2 out of 3 times at best--I just tried to print on card stock and the manual feed jammed 5 times in a row! It never grabs the paper straight, so all my signs and labels are crooked.
Excerpt: The Brother 1370-CDW color laser printer appears to be an economical industrial printer made for small businesses (it weighs a ton!). The upfront cost is inexpensive (for a laser). However, the toner life is fairly short but with lots of ink left in when the printer tells you to replace. Then there is the problem of having 4 toner drums that only lasts 15,000 cycles.
Excerpt: Colors are very dull. Would not print text boxes that I used on Word Documents when the two other printers connected to my computer did. Brother Customer Service was very unhelpful in the situation. Ended up returning the product and going with a HP LaserJet Pro M451dn that I am very happy with.
Excerpt: If you're looking for a printer for black and white documents, it's solid enough. If you're looking for good quality color prints, look elsewhere. If you're looking for a fast printer, this is not it. It is BY FAR the slowest printer I can ever remember using. First page out time is excruciatingly long, and it doesn't get much better once it starts. Using the duplexing function with color documents, I'd suggest getting a haircut before you start . . .
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use
Cons: Dull tones & colors, Slow Print Time, Too much toner used
Excerpt: This is a very poor printer. Quite simply it has many design flaws that make it a poor printer. First of all, toner cartridges constantly leak toner, coating the drums and stopping the printing process. This makes it necessary to clean the drums, sometimes multiple times in one printing session. After discussing this problem with customer support at Brother, they sent me a replacement machine. It did the same thing. The printer has now developed a fuser problem.
Cons: Flimsy Construction, Fuser Problems, Slow Print Time, Toner Problems, Too much toner used, Unreliable
Excerpt: I am very upset at the inability to use this printer in either wireless or w/ a USB cable. Having dealt with Staples in the past with non-performing products I know that dealing with them will be very difficult. I wasted hours on this printer trying to get it to work. I had some very important documents which were why I bought the printer & I was not able to print them. I had terrible experiences trying to get a defective pencil sharpener replaced.

Summary: Just started printing today after printer arrived a few days ago, I have just had a warning message that the toner is running out of ink but I have only printed about 120 pages so far. So do not expect to be able to do much printing with the supplied toner. Update - I ordered the original Brother cartridge full colour set after the initial supply ran out - black should provide 2,500 pages but mine ran out after a few days after printing about 300 pages - 1 side black, 1...
