Summary: I bought it on sale at an Office store for 200 bucks. Photo output is just barely ok, but for a home, small office this is a nice machine. For a few dollars more the store warranty where I bought it, if it breaks, it's replaced. By Brother, no third party hassles.

Summary: I'm very disappointed in the print quality. Everything I printed seemed to print in lines. I've attached an image where you can see what I mean. The top "John Muir" is this brother printer and the bottom one is an HP laser color printer.
