Excerpt: This printer started our strong, but as of yesterday I am having nothing but problems. My MacBook Pro cannot detect the wireless printer and I have tried and tried to reinstall the software but run into error messages and cannot complete the upload. I tried to connect via USB, but still there is no communication between the printer and my Mac. I have just about had it!
Excerpt: This printer is HORRIBLE! The print quality is fine, but it's the rest of it that's a problem. I bought it to print on labels and card stock, primarily, and for this purpose THIS PRINTER DOES'T WORK! You have to manually feed everything. The manual feed jams 2 out of 3 times at best--I just tried to print on card stock and the manual feed jammed 5 times in a row! It never grabs the paper straight, so all my signs and labels are crooked.
Excerpt: The setup was easy, especially the wireless connections. Everything was clear on the quick setup instructions. As others have said, this printer is heavy so be prepared and don't put this on a weak table or one that moves easily. The copies are excellent and true to the description on time of delivery of first as well as quicker additional prints. I am not so impressed with the color output. It falls short of my expectations of a "laser" printer.
Summary: It's a solid replacement for an inkjet for me. The colors are solid but not spectacular. If you're not tweaking every bit of performance out of your inkjet this will actually work better, but it's really not well suited to printing photos.
Pros: Easy to connect, no problems with wireless configurations, plays well on the network. Powers up pretty quickly, and serves as a solid printer for our house. I like the fact that I'm not wasting ink since we go through spurts of using a printer with lengthy times of rarely printing. I like the fact that it can duplex well.
Cons: As most reviews will tell you, it works great on standard printing tasks. I wouldn't be using this for full desktop publishing work, nor for printing out high quality photos (which is what W*lm*rt or Shutterfly are for), but for standard home and office use this is a solid printer.
Excerpt: This printer has been a dream to setup, it took me only 5 minutes to configure the WIFI and all the settings and after installing the driver was ready to print. I have had HP printers and lexmark printer before and this has been the easiest setup by far. Even though this is a less expensive printer the print quality is excellent and rivals out other more expensive printers.
