Summary: Nice printer, but sometimes the paper feeder slips and the paper does not get pushed out. It gets jammed and you have to clear the jam. Other than this issue, the print quality is nice. I do not like how it goes into sleep mode. It is hard to wake up!
Summary: Got this printer to be used in college for one of our children. This is the 3rd Brother printer we've bought. Also have their sheet feed scanner too. These things are great workhorses. As far as I'm concerned Brother printers are the best. This printer has worked very well for over a year now.
Summary: Just hooked up the printer and printed a few tests. The quality of photos is really better than I expected. I would not call this a photo printer, but for mixed content printing, the photo quality is really fine, especially when set to 2400 and glossy paper. (Even when not using glossy paper.
Summary: Got this because it hooks up directly through my WiFi network to all my i-things and Android devices without using a cloud service. Color looks great, and it prints quickly enough for my SoHo use. Prints on both side of the page, but you have to reload the paper into the manual tray.
Summary: What a great printer. Literally I had it up and running on my wireless network in less than five minutes. The flexibility that comes from only needing to have this printer plugged into an electrical outlet is a blessing I didn't even know I needed until I realized how functional it was.
Summary: You get what you pay for. I'm not very thrilled with this printer. After set up I had to fool with the color settings for over 5 hours to get it to print anywhere near as nicely and vibrant as my last HP printer which I'm now regretting giving away. I use this for Real Estate. Flyers and brochures.
I have no idea how all the other positive reviews found this easy. I am going to try hardwiring it with ...

Summary: More trouble than its worth. I'm fairly tech savy, and this was a nightmare. If you dont have a USB cable to set it up, dont bother. The manual setup takes a couple of hours and requires some very in-depth digging into your wireless network. "Deep Sleep" is awful.
