Summary: I'm very pleased with this printer, and have recommended it to friends and family. It's been almost 6 months, and I'm still using the supplied toner. It's heavier and larger than the 3-in-1 inkjets that I'm used to, but the print speed is great and quality is better than I expected. It warms up quickly after sitting idle, and returns to power-saving mode shortly after printing.
Summary: The Brother color printer is the best overall value for a home printer. Not like other printers that count prints and require you replace the toner when there still might be 50% or more of the toner still in the toner cartridge. This printer uses a laser beam to determine the amount of toner is left. Search the Internet to get additional prints out of the toner cartridge.
Summary: I set this up to use in my home wireless network. My wife and I love it. Unlike other Brother laser printers we have had, it goes into a sleep mode that essentially shuts it down until you send it a new job. So we don't have to constantly shut it off and turn it on manually. Color prints beautifully, and a big selling point for us was the affordability of the new toners.
Summary: Purchased 2/2013. Writing review 4/2013. Installation and integration with my wifi was super easy. Printer works great. Color is good and no need to constantly replace expensive ink cartridges like I did with my old inkjet. I highly recommend this for people who don't need a photo quality printer.
Summary: My Konica Magicolor laser printer was having problems pulling paper. Nobody seems to fix printers anymore and kept telling me it would be cheaper to buy a new one. (Not so! I have a laser printer, not an ink jet and they are more expensive.) So I shopped around until I came upon this on. It's even a little smaller than my other one. And I got it on sale on Black Friday! Woo hoo! It's a really nice printer. I'm glad I got it.
