Summary: Great printer, but the toner life is based (as far as I can tell) solely on pages printed. So if you print x number of pages even with only a single dot of color on it, the printer will count that as a page printed in that color. My starter black toner quit after 250 pages. Here is how to fix this - open the top of the printer, then simultaneously press the "Secure" and "X Cancel" buttons. This will put the printer into a special service mode.
Summary: The printer began life working fairly well but has since become a paperweight. In less than one year it's color printing quality has continually declined and it's paper feeding has fallen apart. One year of very little usage and now it's just garbage.
Summary: This is a good quality color laser printer. I really like the wireless feature. The only downside is that the low toner warning comes on very soon, and stays on a long time before you actually run out, but that's not a big deal.
Summary: I bought the device so that I could print wirelessly. Worked perfectly for some time until I got a new router. Probably user error on my part, but now after I set it up, constantly looses connection wirelessly. Overall, great value.
Summary: I'm very pleased with this printer, and have recommended it to friends and family. It's been almost 6 months, and I'm still using the supplied toner. It's heavier and larger than the 3-in-1 inkjets that I'm used to, but the print speed is great and quality is better than I expected. It warms up quickly after sitting idle, and returns to power-saving mode shortly after printing.
Summary: The Brother color printer is the best overall value for a home printer. Not like other printers that count prints and require you replace the toner when there still might be 50% or more of the toner still in the toner cartridge. This printer uses a laser beam to determine the amount of toner is left. Search the Internet to get additional prints out of the toner cartridge.
