Summary: This printer was bought to provide cheap, quick printout from a basic, home-use desktop where colour isn't necessary and does the job admirably. It has a compact form factor but is nonetheless bigger than most photo/deskjet printers in the same price bracket.
Great little mono laser printer – shame about the paper receiving tray
27 July 2011
Summary: I am very pleased with this quick and efficient little laser printer. It worked easily first time on my old Power Mac G5 OS X 10.5.8. when I rather worried that the drivers might only load onto an Intel Mac.
Summary: I was warned through other reviews that it was a bit noisy but that is not a problem for me as I will only print a couple of sheets at a time and then turn it off. The ink isn't jet black but acceptable and the thing is easy to use.
Summary: I am delighted with the Brother HL 2130 printer but I have a couple of small gripes about the purchase. I suspect I was sent a French, or anyway a European model, as there were no instructions in English as to setting it up, only French, German and Italian I think.
Summary: I found this printer to be perfectly adequate for basic text printing and is a good buy if you are looking for relatively cheap and easy to use. My only gripe with this printer is the noise of the parts inside the machine churning is a lot louder than previous Brother printers Ive had.
