Summary: The HL-2130 printer arrived today only twenty four hours after I placed my order. It was up and running within a few minutes with no problems whatever. I printed some lecture notes at 300 dpi, containing mixed graphics and text, and was amazed at the speed and quality of the printout. Goodbye to inkjets from me.
Summary: The instructions are entirely in Italian while the plug is a European one. I'm based in the UK and don't speak Italian. I would've appreciated knowing the specifications of the printer before I bought it.
Summary: A very good price for a printer with a paper tray. It came with a toner cartridge and drum and I was considering buying a spare of each as we live in the middle of nowhere. I found it was cheaper to buy the spare toner and spare drum inside a spare printer. Now I should be bullet proof.
I cannot install drivers on windows 7 after several hours of trying

Summary: I tried on two separate Win 7 machines and I cannot install the drivers properly. On one it shows the status of the printer but refuses to print despite hours of fiddling and running fixes etc. On the other the installation CD simply did nothing. Finally windows 7 installed a generic USB driver which printed only on one account. The others wouldn't work and gave error messages never seen before.
Summary: After having now owned one for a year come this week I can say I'm satisfied with it. It was originally a rush purchase due to me desperately needing a replacement after my previous printer was destroyed in a house fire. As it stands it's the first and only Brother product I currently own. When I originally started printing with it I found it did have an annoying habit of jamming a quarter of the sheets.
