  • Excerpt: I just love these Durabrite inks from Epson. I've tried some of the replacement cartridges, but these are still the best. They are so water resistant that you can run water over your finished copy and the paper will fall apart before the ink bleeds.

  • Summary: As with all epson printers, some ink is used even though the printer isn't in use. This is to ensure that the heads don't dry out and clog. Although this results in the use of ink, it ensures that the print quality is always excellent. My prints are always crisp, sharp, and saturated!
  • Pros: Durabrite doesn't fade
  • Cons: Can be expensive if you're printing a lot
