Bad transmitter

Edward K., Newegg
22 February 2015
  • Summary: This device came defective. It started transmitting, and almost finished the setup process, but then dropped its signal. I was attempting to configure using an Alienware laptop that literally pulls in 15 to 20 signals from all around my neighborhood, but this device would not show.
  • Pros: Small, compact. Easy to return when it doesn't work.
  • Cons: Defective transmitter. No way to attach to your printer in a way that would keep the antenna up. Power cable not long enough for certain situations. No way to configure through a wired PC on your network.

NOT WITH WINDOWS 8

Rob, Office Depot
29 July 2014
  • Excerpt: Customer Service could not get this Print Server to work with Windows 8, unless I changed the IP address of my computer and hacked into the computer and router in a two hour process of using DOS, rebooting 7 times, etc. would not recommend for any Windows 8 users.
  • Cons: Difficult to Set Up

Works with "non-GDI/CAPT"

Frederick L., Newegg
17 January 2014
  • Summary: Of course Newegg has the best price, shipping, and service, but this restriction was not include in online description
  • Pros: None yet
  • Cons: The description fails to specify this device works with non-GDI/CAPT printers. Do a search to verify your printer is not one of the non supported printers. Many common low priced printers are in this category.

Junk

Anonymous, Newegg
26 March 2012
  • Summary: Stop making junk that doesn't work.
  • Pros: none I can't think of when they don't work.
  • Cons: I bought two of these to connect a Oki printer and a cannon for a customer. After scratching my head for an hour wondering why nothing is working on EITHER printer, I call the tech support. The first guy I get was about usless and smug as they come. Then I called back and got one even worse. I co...

Funktion

Fröschl, Amazon
14 June 2014

Funktioniert gelegentlich

Rowolt, Amazon
3 May 2014

2 mal Defekt

Thomas-Oliver Neye "ThomasO", Amazon
30 October 2013
