job site radio

Summary: this unit had speaker problems voices were understandable music very distorted company was very cooperative in returning product until i actually hear this unit playing with good sound would not recommend to a friend
Summary: Nice, square, and compact so packs really easy. Speakers are decent. Only wish I could plug it in and charge it. You with either run off the battery or off the electric cable, but it does not charge when plugged in.
Summary: The Radio is fine and exactly what I expected, but the packaging was a joke. It came in a box with plenty of room to move and no cushion of any sort inside. Picked the box up and almost fell out of my hand. I know its supposed to be a job site radio, but come on.
Summary: This is a no-frills, bare bones portable radio. The only real rationale for purchasing is that you have other Makita battery-powered tools and want to be able to power it with one of your existing batteries. That's the primary reason I purchased it.
Summary: I needed a Christmas gift for my son and thought this would be perfect. The Makita radio compliments his Makita drill/driver. After checking other radios, I found this one to be lighter and of great sound. The price from Amazon was fantastic, so it was an easy buy.
Summary: I bought this radio for my husband for Christmas. He loves, loves, loves it. It sounds great and is easy to carry around. It seems a little expensive when you figure in the battery, charger and radio, but it is well worth it.
Summary: This radio is very compact with great sound and runs for a long time off of a battery. Wish it had the battery charger option ,but from what I understand dewalt is the only one who offers that. It's still a great addition to any jobsite.
