Great but but discontinued

Summary: Great impact gun (limited lifetime warranty) but if you visit the hitachi website, they no longer sell it... I can only guess because of the high price, they had trouble moving this product but with the warranty they offer, it's hard to beat, even at it's over $200 price tag
Summary: What a good tool. I set the switch on high torque, it takes tire lugs right off. I also used it on my commercial IS1500Z Ferris zero turn to remove the blades. Piece of cake. This tool came in a nice case and I purchased deep sockets which have plenty of room to store them. Anyone wishing to use this instead of an air wrench or electric impact, this is your tool.
Summary: i have used many impact wrenches in my 40 years of working on motorcycles at lannys cycle world, this one is the best because of lithium battery. i wont use an air wrench any more. it has good power and speed, and good ballance.
Big Power in a small/light package. Great value for the $$$

Summary: I never write product reviews but this impact has performed so well I had to pass it on to benefit others. It zipped off my cars lug bolts (88ft/lbs.,) lugs from a Jeep Wrangler and from a '68 Camaro with EASE. It wasn't even a challenge for this Hitachi. I also used it on a GMC Acadia (140ft/lbs.) This gave the impact a challenge. It took about 5 seconds or so to break each lug free but it still did it.
Summary: wow this hitachi impact is unbelieveable i use it every day i dont need a 500 ft lbs wrench i have 12 air impacts up to 1 1/2 inch its light and unstopable for tinware and engine teardowns buy this you wont be disappointed.
Summary: It comes with two batteries which will be great for longer jobs. It's got a good carrying case and the tool has a good hand-feel. The light doesn't do much and is kinda in the way. My biggest complaint is the torque. With a freshly charged battery and the wrench on maximum power it will only torque a lug nut to 708 in-lbs. This is quite short of what is needed on all of my vehicles.
Summary: I bought this wrench to help me change the front brake rotors on my truck, which involved loosening some 19mm bolts. The description said "class leading torque" and "an incredible 1,950 in./lbs. of torque for tightening and loosening the most stubborn nuts, and hex-head bolts and screws" so imagine my surprise when I found out it couldn't do the job that a 2 foot breaker bar did in no time.
Summary: i work for and engineering company and i often times have to take out fasteners from failing structures, i compared this impact wrench to a non battery powered impact wrench and this one did as good or better at times. battery life is really long and i could not wear one out before the other was charged. this is the best tool i have purchased in a long time.
Summary: On my 4th year of owning this Impact and love it. The NiMH batteries are starting to die on me. Downside is the replacement batteries cost 40-120 dollars for these, but it will use the Li-on batery as well. Mine is the older version with the Ni-Mh, but had to put a review here too. Awesome impact flat tire on my 3/4 ton truck, 8-lugs, a breeze with this impact.
