Summary: I bought this saw but it's going back. I can't get the shoe to stay at 90 degrees to the blade. I read about a similar problem with one of their cordless models. I don't see anything obviously wrong but, it uses a fairly crude sleeve with a t-shaped slot for the base pivot and allen screw to clamp...
Summary: decent saw for the money , third one I have purchased ,use it almost daily , only drawback i have found in the long run is led light not bright enough and does not quite illuminated blade at its cutting point . blade changing is a snap , and base adjust to 45 degress in both directions .
Summary: This tool is not something I use very often and to illustrate that it replaced a Skil brand tool I've had over 20 years. I was doing some volunteer work making some animal shapes cut from plywood for a photo shoot for the upcoming Christmas season. The Skil was not up to the task.

Summary: This saw was the Top Value in our test of 10 corded jigsaws in the October 2014 issue of WOOD. Sporting a very strong blower, this saw enabled us to easily see marked layout lines. It has a very comfortable grip, and has the variable-speed dial on its front for easy access and visibility.
Summary: Finally upgraded from the jig saw that I've had for about 20 years. I cannot believe I waited this long. This tool is amazingly fast and so easy to use. A fantastic buy. would recommend to anyone.
