Summary: Great gun, great price but it's like buying a car without the wheels. each accessory you need to use the gun, meaning the nozzles, costs between 30% and 70% of the original gun price! ... Equally helpful is the fact that very few dealers stock the nozzles!
Summary: a very good heat gun and recommended. HOWEVER, be aware that the reduction nozzle DOESN'T fit, no matter what you do. DO NOT ORDER THE REDUCTION NOZZLE WITH THIS GUN. The box the nozzle comes in says it fits this model of heat gun (along with several others)...BUT IT DOESN'T.
Summary: Very pleased with this Bosch heat gun, it performs it's duty's well, it is well made and has proved to be very useful in warming items up in the workshop for my vintage restoration work, I also find it useful for melting wax onto foundry patterns when sticking down letters onto the main base plate...
Summary: So far I have found this an excellent piece of kit, largely because it's so hot the paint bubbles up and practically falls off by itself. The cold setting is useful too, for inflating odd items round the house ...
Summary: In the short time I have had the gun i have used it for 2 jobs - it has stripped the 25 years of gloss paint in minutes on the exterior of our house ready for repainting. Also helped remove the roof felt off my children's Wendy House. It's third job will be help me apply the new felt.
Summary: The gun is just what I needed for repairing some badly deteriorated paintwork. However it does not come with any attachments and they are pricy. The particular nozzle I wanted to protect the glass in a window was priced at HALF the cost of the gun. Luckily I picked one up on a sale offer at B&Q
Summary: Did a bit of research before buying this hot air gun and concluded that Bosch was the best. Given that I like Bosch products anyway the buying decision was made. The gun is as you would expect it to be. It is very well made and does exactly what Bosch says it does.
Summary: I have used this hot air gun a few times now, mostly for drying painted parts. I am restoring a motorcycle so it gets rough use in a garage. My old gun lasted for years with this type of use, not sure of make. If this one lasts as well I will be pleased.
