Summary: Bought for trimming wisteria, and small bushes. The teeth are long but not very wide, so I found it difficult to use on my wisteria. The diagram showing anti blocking in the Amazon page does not reflect the true shape of the blade - see...
Summary: This little machine made life so much easier, giving bushes a short back and sides, and tidying up the hedge. It is not strong enough to cut bugger branches but solves the maintenance job absolutely.
Summary: This Shear performed extremely well. The only negative was that I found the red power button quite tricky to re-start every time I paused. Overall, this item has helped a pensioner to 'tame' her garden much quicker this autumn.
Summary: Very disappointing. This is just an expensive toy, not a useful tool. You can do the job quicker and more easily with a pair of hand shears. I had hoped it would help in cutting hedges from a ladder, but of no help at all. Probably the most useless thing I have ever bought!
Summary: I love this hedge trimmer. It's lightweight and easy to use. I trimmed two yew trees, and a very large conifer hedge and there was still some charge left in it. I would recommend this in place of a normal hedge trimmer if you find them too heavy.
Summary: I have a long hedge beside my garden path and the new growth encroaches on the path and makes the walk to my garden very tricky. This trimmer is ideal - The hedge must be all of 80 feet long and six feet high and I trimmed the whole length of it in about 45 minutes, and I am certainly not young any...
Summary: An excellent tool for those occasions when a full size hedgetrimmer is too cumbersome for the job. There is a smaller powered version but I chose the 10.8v model which runs for quite a while on a charge and has the power to cut through largish shrubbery branches.
